OrderWork announced the successful rapid site deployment of 37k devices across 1,400 sites in just three days. 500 of the organisation’s ‘plug-in’ workforce were employed to undertake the work.
OrderWork’s CEO James Anderton said, “A major client required us to pull together our project management team and build a seamless digital journey from order entry, deployment and task management, through to quality checks and sign off. It was a challenge: we had less than a week’s notice to start the job, the project was nationwide and we were limited by restricted access times.”
The ability to manage such a big deployment is largely down to the myOrderWork platform. It was built from the ground up to assist the organisation in managing large volumes of work and ensuring that the right people with the right skills are deployed. As a tool, it simultaneously manages quality and ‘right first time’ success, bypassing the need for multiple spreadsheets that require valuable administration resources.
James adds, “This latest project clearly demonstrates that OrderWork is not only a long-term strategic installation partner for household names like John Lewis and Amazon, but also a rapid site deployment organisation capable of engaging large, skilled teams across the UK.”
OrderWork has spent over a decade building and delivering service capabilities in skill groups that now spans over 6,500 resources and multiple diverse disciplines including electrical, smart products, AV and electric vehicle charge points.
