Orderwork Launches iPhone App Version of its Industry-Leading Portal, MyOrderWork
New App supports remote portal access, enabling requests to be placed and sourced more easily than ever before
London, 1st May, 2014 – OrderWork, one of the UK’s leading ICT project and support services to the UK SMB/mid-market channels and consumer electronics retail markets, today announced the launch of its app version of its MyOrderWorkTM portal.
The web based portal was developed in partnership with Iniquus and launched in 2006, to enable clients to quickly place service orders, which are then matched to service partners who have the right skills set and who are located in the area where the job is located. The portal is now an industry-leading resource and platform, currently supporting clients both the IT Channel and Retail sectors.
The MyOrderWorkTM portal has two main user groups: Clients and Service Partners. Clients use MyOrderWorkTM to place service and support requests, whereas Service Partners use MyOrderWorkTM to fulfil these requests on behalf of our clients.
The purpose of the app is to replicate some of the features of the MyOrderWorkTM portal used by the Service Partner user group and to enable access and usability from mobile devices, to better serve customers on the move and remotely.
Key iPhone application features include the following:
- Free to download and use
- View new service requests – After login, users can see new service requests
- View “Today’s” active service requests – Service Requests that have been accepted by Service Partners for fulfilment on current date are visible after clicking on the Today’s Job tab at the bottom navigation
- View details of the service request – Users can view the details of the service request
- Product Details – Provides product location and product details information
- Accept / discard service request – Users can accept or reject the service request using the buttons provided in the details page
