The Account Manager role
Reporting to The Sales Director, the Account Manager role is responsible for the relationship management and service delivery within their account base. They will ensure that they maximise opportunities through strong relationships and through efficient and effective service delivery.
The Account Manager will deliver IMAC, rollout and Bodyshopping projects for their clients. They will source the right engineers from OrderWork’s extensive network of Service Partners and manage the projects end to end.
Required Experience
- Account Management experience – proven track record of relationship building
- Understanding of the IT channel
- Knowledge of Service Delivery process and experience in facilitating this within client base
- Good understanding of Information Technology
- Solid grasp of financial planning within allocated accounts.
- Proven track record of increasing revenues within existing accounts
- Experience within the UK IT & Telecommunications Channel and a good knowledge of the channel focused sales process.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships and satisfaction.
- Achieve (>) 100% of individual quota.
- Position OrderWork as the Outsourcer of choice
- Forecast, budget, track, and report key metrics every week and month to your manager.
- Work throughout the entire sales process from start to finish.
- Service Delivery – delivering projects with high levels of quality
- Resolve any issues the client may have related to use of the service
- General account management duties
- Liaising with Service Partners nationwide and building relationships with them.
- Quarterly Service Review meeting with clients.
- Maintain a weekly sales pipeline report that tracks the health and status of potential opportunities, accounts about to kick off, and those at risk of postponement/cancellation.
