About Us

OrderWork is the only IT services marketplace in the UK. With more than 1,700 Service Partner firms in our nationwide network, we supply highly IT & Consumer Electronics engineers to IT solution Providers and Retailers throughout the UK.

OrderWork can support and grow your business by offering nationwide coverage and a vast range of skill sets. We help expand retail businesses by installing hardware, a new stream of revenue that is taking the retail sector by storm. Companies of all sizes turn to OrderWork to support small or large scale implementation projects, peaks in demand, roll outs or routine work. We can find you the engineers you need, in the city you want, with the right qualifications. OrderWork reduces costs, increases response rates and offers a full end to end customer solution..

OrderWork was founded by Neil Bradford and Toby Strauss, two seasoned professionals and entrepreneurs. With significant private equity backing OrderWork was launched in May 2006 and is growing rapidly within the UK. In October 2006, a Microsoft backed version of the site was launched, allowing 400 plus Microsoft partners in the UK to buy and sell resources.

In June 2007, OrderWork moved into the European market, launching in Germany - http://www.orderwork.de

Over one year on, OrderWork has over 1,700 IT firms registered, and our nationwide suppliers have completed over 15,000 jobs.

Our mission here at OrderWork is to improve the speed, quality and efficiency of IT services. Our services marketplace enables companies to find IT resources and support much faster and easier then through traditional means, and provides high quality work at a better price.

Toby Strauss

Executive Chairman

Toby is a successful businessman having held board and senior positions at several companies including Charcol, the UK's leading bricks-and-clicks mortgage broker, McKinsey and IBM. Most recently he was a CEO of John Scott & Partners, a wealth management and financial planning business.

Toby is able to offer expert comment on consumer marketing - online and offline, internet businesses, IT skills gaps, offshoring and outsourcing. His opinion has been sought by a wide range of media including BBC Radio 4 (Today) and 5, Working Lunch, Bloomberg, Sunday Times and specialist trade publications.

Outside of work, Toby plays in a classic guitar ensemble and enjoys sailing and cycling.

 
 
  Neil Bradford

Co-founder and Director

Neil started his career as a technology specialist with management consulting firm McKinsey and then later became an industry analyst. This has provided Neil with a particular interest in trends and developments in the IT industry. He is an experienced entrepreneur having successfully founded UK technology research firm, Fletcher Research before selling it to Forrester Research for $19 million after two years.

Neil went on to become managing director of Forrester's Global Business and then president of Forrester's Americas division where he managed the integration of Giga Information Group following its acquisition by Forrester in 2003. Neil spent four and a half years in Boston, US, where he built the company to 25% annual growth from 25% annual shrinkage and gained valuable insight into the differences between working in the US and the UK.

Neil has been widely quoted on technology matters in the UK and European media including ITN, BBC, CNN Europe, Financial Times, WSJE and The Times.

Neil is a dedicated West Bromwich Albion fan!

 
 
  Tom Bausemer

Managing Director

Tom Bausemer is OrderWork's Managing Director UK. Tom brings both strategic and operational leadership to the table in his management of OrderWork's UK Operations. He contributes to developing new opportunities with both existing and new clients. Tom is responsible for building the sales and service delivery teams, helping to shape our market messaging, and penetrating new markets.

Tom was formerly a commercial director of consulting for Forrester Research Inc., the global IT research company, At Forrester, Tom managed a $20m consulting business, and was responsible for a 125% growth to $45m in just three years. Prior to that, Tom worked for PowerSteering Software as sales director. He managed on-site demos of the company's products and quadrupled sales in one year. Tom's expertise is within the retail sector, technology vendors, large corporate companies and small to medium businesses.

An avid fan of American sports, Tom had the pleasure of watching the Boston Red Sox win the World Series in 2004 after 86 Years without a championship – he also attended New England Patriots SuperBowl victories in 2001 and 2003.

 
 
  Dan Richmond
Daniel Richmond
Services Director

Daniel Richmond is OrderWork's Services Director and manages all key account managers at OrderWork. Daniel ensures OrderWork's buyers requirements are met and carried out in a seamless transition and manages OrderWork's network of nearly 2,000 suppliers across the UK, Ireland and Germany.

Formally a Manager at Zeda, Daniel was responsible for setting up the London office and specialized in the delivery of consultancy services for banking and finance in the city. Prior to that Daniel was a account manager at Wincor Nixdorf managing key UK and European retail and banking accounts and delivering £2m+ maintenance and implementation projects to major European accounts.

Away from the office Daniel is a keen sportsman competing regularly in association football, snowboarding and poker. Dan loves the outdoors and is also partial to long country strolls having been born and bred in rural Berkshire(!)

 
 
  Ben Creasey
Ben Creasey
Sales Director

Ben Creasey is OrderWork’s Sales Director. Ben has been responsible for OrderWork’s incredible growth rate of 25% per month and is integral in building and maintaining our client relationships. Ben is constantly scoping and developing opportunities for clients that would benefit from the OrderWork business model.

Boasting a wealth of service sales experience as former Sales Manager for Westcon, Ben was responsible for sales figures amounting to £6 million for the Westcon services Division. Ben has also held the position of Channel Manager at Networks First and Silicon Graphics.

Ben is an avid England fan and loves that he can see Wembley from his office window(!)
